Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL)

Twitter suspends personal account of new Republican Alabama Rep. Barry Moore over Capitol riot tweets: Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL) had his personal Twitter account suspended after he tweeted about the Capitol riot. After journalist Jamie Dupree reported two of his tweets to Twitter, Moore found his account suspended, and subsequently deactivated the account. The tweets in question read: "Wow we have more arrests for stealing a podium on January 6th than we do for stealing an election on November 3rd! Atlanta, Philadelphia and Detroit would be places I recommend you start; there is video of evidence of these crimes as well! #ElectionIntegrityMatters," and "@mtgreenee @NARAL I Understand it was a black police officer that shot the white female veteran. You know that doesn't fit the narrative." Moore's chief of staff said he deleted his account "because of the censorship of conservative voices he saw happening."
