TikTok deleted a user's post calling for Hamas to be held accountable: An X user by the username Proper Mike posted a screenshot showing that TikTok had removed a comment he had made on a video. "Are you holding hamas to any account?" the removal notice read, according to the screenshot. It appears that the user had tried to appeal TikTok's decision to remove the comment but the platform refused. "It was determined that your content violates our community standards and cannot be restored," the platform claimed in the deletion notice. In his X post, Proper Mike pointed to this as "one simple example out of many where TikTok moderation makes decisions that are politically influenced."
