The Post Millennial

Twitter locks The Post Millennial’s account for tweet about “Trans Day of Vengeance”: The Post Millennial tweeted March 28 that it was temporarily locked out of its account for tweeting about the planned “Trans Day of Vengeance” that was set for this week, the same week a transgender shooter killed six at a Christian school. “We were locked out of our account for this tweet. It linked to our reporting about a ‘trans day of vengeance’ that was being organized by far-left activists. @elonmusk,” Post Millennial tweeted. Part of the original tweet was blacked out in the screenshot Post Millennial shared, but the tweet included a link and the comment, “Radical trans activists and a DC Antifa group are organising a Trans Day of Vengeance protest.” The screenshot showed Twitter saying the tweet was censored for “violent speech” and scolded, “You may not share abusive content, harass someone, or encourage other people to do so.” The Twitter message instructed Post Millennial to delete the tweet. It appears Twitter censored every post about the Trans Day of Vengeance, even if the post criticized the event. Twitter VP of Trust and Safety Ella Irwin tweeted that the platform "had to automatically sweep our platform and remove >5000 tweets /retweets of this poster. We do not support tweets that incite violence irrespective of who posts them. ‘Vengeance’ does not imply peaceful protest. Organizing or support for peaceful protests is ok."
