PGurus

Facebook deletes post reporting on a holistic medicine recently announced in India: PGurus, a U.S.-based Indian news and commentary site, posted an article about AYUSH 64, a drug that the Indian government believes can treat mild cases of Covid-19. AYUSH 64 is an old antimalaria treatment that, according to PGurus's article, doctors believe can be repurposed as a treatment for mild to asymptomatic cases of Covid-19. Facebook flagged the article claiming that it does not "allow false information that has been repeatedly debunked." Although Facebook has not reinstated PGurus' post, the platform has allowed other sites to report on the same "repeatedly debunked" information.
