Mythinformed MKE

Twitter restricts account for tweeting a video asking critical race theorist Ibram X. Kendi how schools should respond to CRT ban laws: Mythinformed MKE, an organization that works to "promote viewpoint diversity," tweeted a video of Ibram X Kendi, author of "How to Be an Antiracist," answering how K-12 schools should respond to Critical Race Theory (CRT) curriculum ban laws. Mythinformed reiterated the interaction in its tweet saying "We asked Ibram X. Kendi how k-12 schools should respond to activist teachers that are intentionally breaking the CRT ban laws. He responds by misrepresenting CRT and suggests school districts should find loopholes to still teach 'anti-racist' Critical Race Theory curriculum," according to The Post Millennial. The Post Millennial also reported that Twitter removed the tweet and locked the organization's account because Mythinformed MKE allegedly "violate[ed] [Twitter's] rules against posting private media." It is unclear how or why the tweet violated such rules. The organization was forced to either delete its tweet or remain locked out of its account. Twitter has since restored Mythinformed MKE's access to its account.
