TikTok removes clip of MRCTV's Brittany Hughes blasting Ulta Beauty for promoting "trans girl" Dylan Mulvaney: In a TikTok clip of The Britany Hughes Show," MRCTV managing editor Brittany Hughes blasted Ulta Beauty for interviewing "transgender" TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney on its "The Beauty Of" podcast to talk about "girlhood." The TikTok influencer has made videos documenting "days of girlhood" Mulvaney has very publicly transitioned on the platform. "[Ulta] decided that to an audience that an audience predominantly made of women, the best person to talk to women about womanhood is a dude. So in [Ulta's] latest podcast episode, they featured a guy named Dillon Mulvaney who sat down with guest host David Lopez, two grown men, to talk all things girlhood," Hughes explained. During the podcast, Mulvaney told Lopez "Now I know I can find love. I know I can still be a performer. I know that I can have a family. I want to be a mom one day, and I absolutely can." Hughes further commented on the ridiculousness of the interview when she plainly described what Ulta Beauty promoted. "Two grown men talking about what it's like to be a girl and what it's like to be a girl and what it's like to be a woman and a mother one day and a whole bunch of other crap that they can't do because they're dudes." TikTok removed the video because it allegedly "violates our Community Guidelines" on "hateful behavior." MRCTV is awaiting a response to its appeal.
