Mike Coudrey

Twitter deletes tweet urging caution about rushing into experiential vaccines and locks the account of its author: A tweet about the dangers of rushing into experiential vaccines from Mike Coudrey, an entrepreneur, investor, and speaker who serves as the chairman and CEO of the Pharos Investment Group, was deleted from Twitter. "Confirming earlier FDA Adverse Event Reports, a Nurse has developed Bells Palsy (facial paralysis) and cannot move one side of her face after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine," Coudrey, who has 311,000 followers on Twitter, posted. "We cannot rush experiential vaccines. If you get injured, you have virtually no legal recourse." A notice from Twitter told Coudrey that some of his account features had been temporarily limited. Coudrey's tweet has since been deleted, and his account remains up but has shown no new activity since the deleted post (he is likely still under a reported seven day suspension, keeping him from posting anything new). Coudrey remarked on Twitter alternative Parler that he and fellow conservative personality Ali Alexander "have both been suspended temporarily from Twitter under fraudulent pretenses right before the BIG #StopTheSteal event in Washington DC." Twitter unveiled new rules on Dec. 16 indicating the platform would begin removing and labeling any content it deems to be “misleading” information about the COVID-19 vaccine. "Starting in early 2021, we may label or place a warning on Tweets that advance unsubstantiated rumors, disputed claims, as well as incomplete or out-of-context information about vaccines,” Twitter said in a blog post. "[W]e are expanding the policy and may require people to remove Tweets which advance harmful false or misleading narratives about COVID-19 vaccinations."
