Twitter suspended a user and removed her tweet for joking that she'd like to slap comedian Kathy Griffin: Comedian Kathy Griffin commented on actor Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars after Rock made a joke about Smith's wife. Griffin tweeted "Let me tell you something, it's a very bad practice to walk up on stage and physically assault a Comedian. Now we all have to worry about who wants to be the next Will Smith in comedy clubs and theaters." Twitter user @mf775 told CensorTrack via email that Twitter restricted, then suspended her account after she responded to the tweet. The user said in response to Griffith, "@kathygriffin I mean, I would love to slap you, too," according to the screenshot she sent CensorTrack. Her screenshot shows that Twitter removed the tweet for "violating [its] rules against abuse and harassment" and explained that users "may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so," This includes wishing or hoping that someone experiences physical harm." Twitter soon after suspended her account.
