Attorney and senior columnist at Townhall put in Twitter jail after calling out 'Islamist accounts' for 'glorifying Hitler': Marina Medvin, an attorney and senior columnist for Townhall, was locked out of her Twitter account after she allegedly posted "evidence of Islamist accounts glorifying Hitler," tweeted senior policy analyst for The Jewish Institute for National Security of America, Erielle Davidson. "Good job, @Twitter. Blocking the Jewish person who calls out abuse," she concluded in her tweet. When Twitter restricts users' accounts, the consequences are very much the same as being temporarily suspended. Users whose accounts are locked cannot access their accounts until the tweet that got them in trouble is deleted. Once the tweet is deleted, an account restriction period of anywhere from 12-hours to two weeks can be levied against the user as well, during which time users lose the ability to post new content and engage with other users' content. The main difference between a full blown suspension and a restricted account is that restricted accounts can still communicate on the social network via direct messaging. At the time of publication, no new tweets have been posted from Medvin's account in 14 hours.
