Twitter censors user apparently for a misidentified slur: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of her censorship notice. She tweeted "Only if Hunter & Joe don't face charges. Sigh. This is never going to end. The Dems will not stop until they impeach and arrest a sitting GOP president. DeSantis better have a spic-n-span closet.... Sigh." Twitter claimed this violated its "rules against hateful conduct." The user's best guess is that Twitter's notoriously terrible AI algorithm picked up on the word "spic" as a racial slur rather than as part of the name of a household cleaning product. The user's account was locked until she deleted the tweet.
