Instagram placed a sensitive content filter over a video posted by Libs of TikTok: Conservative commentator Libs of TikTok posted a video showing a transgender, biological male student attacking a female student in the middle school hallway. Instagram placed a "Sensitive Content" warning over the video that reads "This video contains content that some people may find upsetting." In its explanation of the video, Instagram noted that "This post doesn’t go against our Community Standards, but may contain images that some people might find upsetting." Users must then click a link to continue to view the video. Instagram has controls for sensitive content, however these controls do not allow users to remove interstitials over posts altogether, only how many of these types of posts they see. According to Facebook, Instagram's sister-company, users fail to click through similar interstitials 95% of the time.
