#LetsGoBrandon

Peloton deletes #LetsGoBrandon from its usable tags list: Peloton, a home fitness company with smart equipment that can connect users, began allowing tags on its platform in 2020. Peloton claimed that the tags were designed to "provide a more robust way for [Peloton] Members to connect with one another through shared interests or identity—making the in and out of class experience feel more personal and relevant." The company, however, recently removed the tag #LetsGoBrandon, according to a user-generated screenshot on Twitter. Those searching for like-minded Peloton users with #LetsGoBrandon are met with a notice that reads "[t]his Tag does not meet our guidelines." PJ Media reported that Peloton has also removed several other tags in 2021 including #StopTheSteal, #TrumpWon and #AllLivesMatter. However, #BlackLivesMatter and #DefundThePolice are both allowed, according to PJ Media.
