Patreon indefinitely suspends The Last American Vagabond: Patreon has indefinitely suspended a blog called The Last American Vagabond from using its services. The claim from Patreon is that the blog is posting content that "repeatedly use unfounded or debunked theories to argue against broadly supported public health measures on COVID-19." The platform pointed to one of the blog's articles as an example of content that had run afoul of its medical misinformation policies, yet, the example content pointed to by Patreon was an article derived from reporting done by the World Economic Forum, a very reputable nonprofit. The blog refused to self-censor in hopes of regaining access to their account so Patreon subsequently suspended The American Vagabond's account indefinitely.
