Twitter censors user for tweet about transgenderism: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of his censorship notice. He had tweeted a reply to California state senator Scott Wiener (D) who grossly misrepresented Michael Knowles' CPAC comments about transgenderism by tweeting "'Transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely.' These words were in a speech by a major right wing figure at a national conservative conference. It's a straight up call for genocide. That's what this fight is about. They want us gone." The user's response to this tweet said "It's not a call for genocide. It's a call to stop allowing people to think they are the opposite sex than from what they were born as. Transgenderism is a mental health problem and a deviation from God's created order." Twitter claimed this user's tweet violated its "rules against hateful conduct." This user's account was locked until he deleted the tweet. The egregiously wrong tweet from the state senator, however, was not censored.
