Instagram censors user's post of a rail sliding attraction in China: An Instagram user posted a video depicting people riding a sled down some rails in a grass field with some impressive clouds in the background. The user asked "Would You Try this[?] Hulunbuir Grassland. This is Hulunbuir 186 Ribbon River Grass Skiing, with a total length of 1,000 meters, the longest in Asia." Instagram added an interstitial over the video that read "Altered photo/video. Independent fact-checkers say this video could mislead people." If a user clicks on the "See why" link, it takes them to a Lead Stories article explaining that the video has been altered, as have many other videos of similar attractions in China. The user later edited the post to add a note at the top that read "Note: Just Edit[ed] cloud." The Lead Stories article implied that other aspects of the video had also been altered. Users must click on the small "See Post" link on the interstitial in order to view the video.
