Twitter censors user for tweeting awareness of the so-called 'Trans Day of Vengeance': A Twitter user shared screenshots of his censorship notice. He had tweeted "Here's Tsukuru Fors message on the trans 'day of vengeance' and who @OurRightsDC promoted him #TransTerrorism #transdayofvengeance #Nashville." and "Have y'all heard about the 'day of vengeance'?" The second tweet included a link to a story about the planned event on a socialist web site. The user's account was locked until he deleted the tweets. It appears Twitter censored every post about the Trans Day of Vengeance, even if the post criticized the event. Twitter VP of Trust and Safety Ella Irwin tweeted that the platform "had to automatically sweep our platform and remove >5000 tweets /retweets of this poster. We do not support tweets that incite violence irrespective of who posts them. "Vengeance" does not imply peaceful protest. Organizing or support for peaceful protests is ok."
