Twitter bans user: According to Katie Moon's email to MRC's Free Speech America, an Iowa councilwoman came under fire for saying that hip-hop concerts should not be allowed in public parks because they don't support "family values and traditions." Commenters called her "racist" to which Moon replied that "the black community should try "family values and traditions" instead of killing each other on the streets." She said this made "a lot of people angry," and they "mass reported" three of her "factual tweets." Based on the screenshots provided, Twitter called her tweet "hateful conduct" which violates Twitter Rules. When she appealed to Twitter, she lost her case.
