X community adds a context note to Joe Biden post:  Joe Biden's official X account posted, “On my watch, we have achieved better growth and lower inflation than any other advanced country. A year ago, forecasters said it couldn't be done. But I know prices are still too high. That's why my top economic priority is to lower costs for hardworking Americans." X added a context label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. Within the G7, a group of 7 of the world's largest advanced economies, Italy and Canada currently have lower inflation rates than the U.S. (Non-G7 member China is also lower.) X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk recently shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will now be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
