James Lindsay

Twitter restricts James Lindsay's account for 'ok groomer' post: Twitter restricted James Lindsay's account for allegedly violating platform rules against "hateful conduct." Lindsay quote tweeted a user's post criticizing a Daily Caller article. The user tweeted, "Daily Caller: we aren't anti-LGBTQ, we're anti-pedophile. Also the Daily Caller: uses a generic picture of young people holding Pride flags in their article." Lindsay responded, "Ok groomer," according to purported screenshots shared by Jenna Ellis. Twitter limited Lindsay's account and prohibited him from tweeting, following users or liking content. "You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender , gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease," the notice claimed. To regain full access of his account, the platform required him to delete the Tweet. Twitter did not reply to MRC Free Speech America’s request for comment at the time of publication.
