YouTube censors The Heartland Institute weekly podcast episode, claiming violation of COVID-19 guidelines: The Heartland Institute reported via Twitter that an episode of its weekly podcast had landed the group's YouTube channel in "jail." The company told CensorTrack that YouTube claimed something was said on the episode that violated it's COVID-19 policy, but that nothing was said that had not already been said on previous episodes, and that the hosts "merely had repeated the various conflicting claims about the virus from government bureaucrats, the fact that people who are triple vaxxed still get Omicron, etc." YouTube pulled the episode, which was coincidentally also being streamed for the first time on alternative platform Rumble, where it can still be seen now. Additionally, because this was the channel's second strike in twelve months, the group is unable to upload new videos to YouTube for one week. The incident was discussed further on the following week's episode of the podcast, also available on Rumble. The Heartland Institute is a member of the Free Speech Alliance.
