Twitter locks Greg Price's account after he named Ellen Page and used female pronouns to describe her: Conservative digital strategist Greg Price tweeted "The only reason Ellen Page became trans is because being a boring lesbian wasn't enough for her," according to screenshots tweeted by Jordan Chamberlain, social media director for the Washington Free Beacon. The screenshots indicate that Twitter removed Price's tweet for "violating our rules against hateful conduct" which prohibit promoting violence against threatening or harassing other people "on the basis of... sexual orientation, gender, gender identity..." among other characteristics. The platform also required Price to delete the tweet and "acknowledge that [his] Tweet violated the Twitter Rules" to regain access to his account.
