Twitter suspends Grabien Media for quoting Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ): Grabien Media founder Tom Elliot tweeted a snapshot Dec. 31 showing that Twitter allegedly forced his company's account to delete a video of Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ). Grabien Media had captioned the tweet: "Rep. Biggs: Big Pharma Won't Consider Therapeutics Like HCQ and Ivermectin Because of Economic Interests." Twitter reportedly forced Grabien to delete the tweet and accused it of "[v]iolating the policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19." Elliot slammed Twitter's actions in his tweet: "Next-level @Twitter absurdity. My company’s account — @GrabienMedia — was just suspended for … quoting a congressman (@RepAndyBiggsAZ)." Elliot later tweeted that he had appealed to the platform and included a snapshot of his case against the censorship: "Quoting an elected leader on an issue that matters to everyone is important and newsworthy, regardless of whether you agree. Voters deserve knowing his views."
