Dustin Ellermann

YouTube demonetizes gun channel because the content does not align with its Partner Program Policies: YouTube demonetized Dustin Ellermann, a licensed shooting instructor and the season three winner of the History Channel's "Top Shot" competition show. The channel, called Top Shot Dustin, featured "shooting shenanigans, Top Shot Tree Service, reviews, shooting tips, and other fun stuff." Some of his potentially dangerous content comes with a disclaimer in the description of the video that reads: "This test is for educational purposes and is specifically filmed and produced in accordance with YouTube's community guidelines. Dustin is a certified, licensed, and insured firearms instructor. Everything was filmed on an OFFICIAL GUN RANGE and closed range with all the proper safety precautions. Do not attempt to duplicate anything yourself." According to a screenshot shared by another YouTube gun enthusiast, @mrgunsngear, YouTube demonetized Ellermann's account, claiming that it "found that a significant portion" of his channel's content was "not in line with our YouTube Partner Program Policies." According to the screenshot, his channel is therefore "not eligible to monetize" and he "will not have access to monetization tools and features."
