Twitter censors scientist over tweets about COVID-19: Dr. Lidiya Angelova, who says she holds a PHD in microbiology and has been a scientist for more than 15 years, had a tweet deleted according to a screenshot shared by another Twitter user. The user also noted that after Angelova deleted the tweet to regain access to her Twitter account, her account was restricted for 12 hours. The tweet that resulted in the censorship read: "Sorry didn't have space to explain. Breastfeeding after the mother was vaccinated. Experimental treatments were never given to kids, pregnant and breastfeeding women I guess since the Nazi time. There are stringe[nt] rules which are thrown away. Until 2023 all are experimental." According to the screenshot, Twitter claimed that this violated its "policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19."
