Dr. Drew says YouTube suspended his channel for two weeks due to one of his podcast episodes uploaded to the platform: Dr. Drew Pinsky, well known for his shows on television, such as "Celebrity Rehab" and "Dr. Drew On Call," said on Twitter that YouTube has suspended his channel for two weeks following the platform's removal of one of his videos. According to Dr. Drew, the podcast episode, which featured commentary from board-certified anesthesiologist Dr. Ram Yogendra, was pulled from the platform "for medical misinformation." Dr. Drew noted that YouTube levied a "2 weeks penalty" against his channel, which typically happens when a user receives two community guideline strikes within a 90-day period. In February Dr. Drew told political commentator Dave Rubin on his podcast that YouTube suspended his channel for a week and threatened to deplatform him permanently.
