Twitter suspends popular account Defiant L's which exposed liberal hypocrisy: Twitter suspended popular Twitter account Defiant L's, which resulted in the loss of its roughly 354,000 followers. Defiant L's became notable on Twitter for posting screenshots of liberals making statements that appear to contradict each other. The reported reason for the suspension was "ban evasion," according to an alleged screenshot of a message to Twitter by the Defiant L's account owner obtained by the Post Millennial. It is unclear how Defiant L's violated the rules against ban evasion, given that the account owner allegedly said, "I've never had an account suspended so I've never had a ban to evade."
OutKick reported that the last post Defiant L's had tweeted included an image of two images of headlines by USA Today affiliate The Courier Journal concerning Black Lives Matter activist and Journal columnist Quintez Brown. Brown was reportedly arrested and charged with "attempted murder" for an alleged shooting attack against Democratic candidate for Louisville, Kentucky mayor Craig Greenberg. The snapshot of the two Journal headlines included a 2019 headline of an op-ed written by Brown, which said the following: "Kentucky's concealed carry law shows your life doesn't matter to gun-loving Republicans." The second Journal headline, written Feb. 14 2022, read: "Activist Quintez Brown named in attempted shooting of Louisville mayor candidate Greenberg."
UPDATE: Twitter restored Defiant L's account following the suspension. The owner of the account tweeted Feb. 16, "IM. BACK." However, the vast majority of the account's 354,000 followers appeared to have been lost as a result of the original suspension at the time that the account was restored.
