Twitter removes Dave Rubin's Jordan Peterson tweet, locks account: Twitter restricted the account of author and podcast host Dave Rubin after he tweeted about Jordan Peterson's suspension from the same platform. "The insanity continues at Twitter. @jordanbpeterson has been suspended for this tweet about Ellen Page. He just told me he will 'never' delete the tweet. Paging @elonmusk..." he said according to purported screenshots shared by Jack Posobiec. In a statement shared by Posobiec, Rubin said he does not know why his account was restricted. "I hope Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter goes through so he can blow up their servers and humanity can move past this pervasive, twisted, self-imposed mental institution," he said. Twitter told CensorTrack that "The Tweet referenced violated the Twitter Rules on hateful conduct. The account owner will need to delete the violative Tweet before regaining full access to their account." The platform did not explain how the tweet violated its rules against hateful conduct.
