Facebook censors user's post about playoff hockey, upholds it after appeal: A Twitter user posted a screenshot of his Facebook censorship notice. The post that got him in trouble was in reference to the Pittsburgh Penguins NHL hockey team in the playoffs. It read: "Pens are the worst playoff team in the division. you Pens fans are so delusional. Isles will beat them in 5, maybe you'll get an extra game to watch though and lose in 6." Facebook claimed this post violated its community standards. After an appeal by the user, Facebook upheld the censorship, citing Oversight Board Reference ID: FB-Y1RE8YXT in its decision. It seems that the appeal was not actually reviewed by a Facebook employee or it would not have been upheld. There is clearly nothing in the post worth censoring.
