Daniel McAdams, the executive director of the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, was permanently banned from Twitter after he made a comment on one of his tweets that called Fox News television host Sean Hannity "retarded." Twitter said McAdams violated its policies related to attacking individuals on the basis of one of their many protected categories, such as race, age or religious affiliation, among others. McAdams has not since been able to return to Twitter.
