Twitter censors user for using the phrase 'tarred & feathered': A Twitter user shared a screenshot of his censorship notice. He had tweeted "They should be tarred & feathered and tied to lamp posts around Union Buildings." Twitter found this violated one of its rules. Although it was not clear from the screenshot which rule it cited, Twitter's terrible AI algorithm has been known to censor the phrase "tarred & feathered" because of the seeming threatening nature of the extremely common idiom. The user's account was locked until he deleted the tweet, and his appeal was denied.
