Instagram deplatforms Children's Heath Defense: Children's Health Defense (CHD) wrote on August 19 that Facebook and Instagram had "simultaneously" and "without warning" deplatformed or unpublished its account pages two days before. According to a screenshot shared by CHD, Instagram said CHD was "unpublished" because "Children's Health Defense goes against our Community Standards on misinformation that could cause physical harm." The screenshot added that CHD supposedly shared "false information about COVID-19." CHD said, "Collectively, more than half a million followers have been denied access to truthful information."
