Facebook deletes post linking to MRC Free Speech America article, calls it "spam": MRC Contributor Catherine Salgado attempted to share an article written for MRC Free Speech America on her Facebook account. The article was titled "Worst censorship of August: Reagan, Elections, Immigration and more." This post examining some of the worst examples of censorship found by MRC Free Speech America in August was deleted by Facebook when Salgado shared a link to it on her Facebook page. The notice that Salgado received claimed that "[i]t looks like you tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way" and said the post violated Facebooks "Community Standards on spam." Additionally, she was told that "Repeatedly breaking our rules can cause more account restrictions." Salgado has been receiving this same censorship each time she has posted her monthly roundup of the worst examples of censorship to her Facebook page for several months in a row now. It is still unclear what is triggering this faulty "spam" warning.
