Caitlyn Jenner

X (formerly Twitter) uses internal "reputation" score to de-amplify accounts: Using X's AI chatbot Grok and information distributed by an anonymous researcher on X known as @The1Parzival, MRC was able to investigate how the X algorithm treats various members of conservative media. According to Grok, X assigns each account a "Reputation" score that Grok refers to as "Tweepcred." This score represents the alleged credibility of an account, and X uses it to determine "the visibility and likelihood of a user's content being recommended to others," the chatbot noted. Grok further disclosed that "the minimum Tweepcred score required for a user to be recommended on Twitter is 65." MRC then asked Grok to present the Reputation/Tweepcred scores of various members of Congress and media figures/outlets. Using this methodology, MRC determined that the account for Caitlyn Jenner had a Reputation/Tweepcred score of 50 and X would therefore de-amplify the Republican influencer's content, according to the metrics outlined by Grok.
