Twitter censors user for using the phrase 'tarred and feathered': A Twitter user shared a screenshot of his censorship notice. He had tweeted "Need to publicly tar and feather is ass first." Twitter found this violated one of its rules. Although it was not clear from the screenshot which rule it cited, Twitter's terrible AI algorithm has been known to censor the phrase "tarred and feathered" because of the seeming threatening nature of the extremely common idiom. The user's account was locked until he deleted the tweet.
