TikTok bans Libertarian satire site, reason unknown: A new satire site that had recently been gaining traction on TikTok was summarily banned without explanation. The site, Beep News, found that its TikTok account was "permanently banned due to multiple violations of our Community Guidelines," according to a screenshot provided to CensorTrack. Beep News created a video about the ban in which site founder, Yvonne Bailey, explained that the site had received a content warning on a video featuring Alex Jones saying that Hilary Clinton is a "demon." However, this is the only violation that the channel had prior to being banned for "multiple violations," according to Bailey. She also reiterated that all of Beep News' content is clearly labeled as satire and is in no way intended to be anything but entertaining. Bailey has appealed the ban to TikTok and is awaiting a response.
