Instagram censors comment about transgender athletes in sports: Instagram reportedly removed a comment that radio host and former political candidate Austin Petersen made concerning transgender athletes in sports. A screenshot shared by Petersen showed his reply to an Instagram post saying, "@informedwithanthony The fact that it's debatable is why it shouldnt [sic] have govt [sic] involved. Honestly why people don't just get their kids into religious schools where they don't have trannies in sports." Instagram informed Petersen that the post "...goes against our Community Guidelines, on hate speech or symbols. Our guidelines are based on our global community, and some audiences may be sensitive to different things." Petersen appealed the decision but Instagram denied the appeal and removed the comment.
