X community adds a context note to a user's post: Aubrey Savela, a Turning Point Action Field Rep., received a Community Note when she posted about receiving two mail-in ballots in Maricopa County. Her concern was addressed directly by Stephen Richer, the Maricopa County Recorder. He explained that she received two mail-in ballots because she changed her address from Chandler to Tempe on the last day of voter registration, which was one day before ballots must be sent out, so she still received one for her previous address. Savela posted a reply to this, saying "Thank you so much Mr. Richer for the clarification regarding my ballots! I see you had no problem sharing my city of residency, maybe next time you can just share my whole address." The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. Voter registration information is a public record in Arizona. elections.maricopa.gov/voter-registra…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system.
