They reported that their account, @AP_Scoop, was notified that it had violated Twitter's "rules against platform manipulation and spam," though it was unclear what led to this determination. The account was suspended as a result. Twitter soon wrote back to say that their account was flagged by mistake, and it was reinstated. Thanks to the recent Twitter purge of conservatives as well as some choosing to leave for alternative platforms, they also reported that once reinstated, their account had lost approximately 2,000 followers.
