X temporarily prevents users from following Kamala Harris' new presidential campaign rapid response account: Shortly after making her bid for the Democratic Presidential nomination official, Kamala Harris' new rapid response account on X known as @KamalaHQ was temporarily censored. On July 21, multiple reports were recorded of users who attempted to follow the new account but were prevented from doing so. The users all received a message stating "Limit Reached." The message continued, saying "You are unable to follow more people at this time." Many users were able to follow other accounts but not the KamalaHQ account. Some users noted that they had not followed any other accounts that day, thus should not have been affected by X's limits on how many accounts may be followed in one day. An official report about this incident was made to Rep. Jim Jordan. While it is unclear what led to the censorship of the KamalaHQ account, the suppression was removed and users were once again able to follow the account.
