YouTube deletes episode of British podcast that criticized lockdowns: Alex Belfield is the host of the British podcast "The Voice of Reason." Belfield shared screenshots on Twitter showing YouTube had deleted one of his episodes titled "Told Ya [emoji] 'No More Lockdowns' [emoji] COVID Downgraded To 'Seasonal Flu' Says Whitty [emoji]." The notice YouTube sent to Belfield alerting him that his video had been removed said that the episode had violated the platform's medical misinformation policy. The deleted episode featured Chris Whitty, a British physician and epidemiologist. Belfield argued on Twitter that he quoted Whitty verbatim, and complained about such footage being deleted.
