At the Republican Presidential Primary debate Wednesday, DeSantis stressed that keeping Americans safe from the rampant crime often intensified by radical Soros-funded prosecutors is crucial for the country’s future success.
Seven Republican 2024 presidential candidates laid out their ideas on the economy, education, the United Auto Workers strike and crime at Wednesday night’s debate. During the debate, Fox News anchor, Dana Perino, asked Florida Governor Ron DeSantis how he would handle a “revolving door of criminals that just get out and commit another crime.” DeSantis referred to his dismissal of two Soros-backed prosecutors and promised to continue fighting Soros-funded prosecutors as president. “When I had two progressive prosecutors that weren’t following the law in Florida, I removed them from their posts and the people of Florida are safer as a result of it,” DeSantis said. “As president, I will use the justice department to bring civil rights cases against all of those left-wing Soros funded prosecutors.”
The Florida Governor continued, “We are not going to let them get away with it anymore. We want to reverse this country's decline. We need to choose law and order. Over rioting and disorder.”
DeSantis also cited some of the most dangerous cities in America that are managed by radical leftist prosecutors, adding, “We can’t be successful as a country if people aren’t even safe to live in places like Los Angeles and San Francisco,” he said. “Just being in southern California over the last couple days, my wife and I have met three people who have been mugged on the street. And that would have never happened 10 or 20 years ago.”
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon was elected in 2020 with the help of $2,250,000 from George Soros.
DeSantis also called out George Soros for funding radical prosecutors in Florida during the first Republican presidential debate, touting his decisions to suspend Andrew Warren and Monique Worrell.
George Soros openly admits that he works to elect what he calls “prosecutors who support reform.” The Capital Research Center documented dozens of these radical leftist public officials, including infamous names like George Gascon and Monique Worrell. Soros has invested $32 billion into his Open Society Foundation and has used this money to support a wide array of leftist causes, including undermining America’s public safety through officials like Monique Worrell in Florida.
