Casey Ryan moved to Washington, D.C., in the summer of 2017 to begin his journey in the nation’s capital. He honed his skills as a writer and an editor in internships at the National Journalism Center, The Daily Signal, and Gingrich Productions for the next year. Casey landed his first job at the Federation for American Immigration Reform in 2018 as a junior researcher before working his way up to a research associate. In 2020, Casey joined the op-ed team of former President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign. He joined MRC Free Speech America in February 2021 as an assistant editor. Casey graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He continued his education at George Washington University and graduated with a master’s degree in legislative affairs in 2019.
