YouTube briefly removes rapper's song for lyrics considered racist towards those of Asian descent: Rapper YG's song "Meet the Flockers" was temporarily removed from YouTube for lyrics deemed to be racist towards those of Asian descent. A line in the song discusses targeting Asian households for robberies because they tend to store a lot of cash within their homes. The line in the song went a little something like this: "... First: You find a house and scope it out; Find a Chinese neighborhood; ‘Cause they don’t believe in bank accounts." An edited version of the song returned to YouTube a day later; however, some artists are still concerned that the policing of hip-hop lyrics may lead to further artistic censorship, which is a First Amendment right.
