Governor restricted on Twitter 'in error': Winsome Sears, a veteran and former Virginia state delegate, had her Twitter account flagged as "temporarily restricted" for four days "in error," reportedly. “You’re seeing this warning because there has been some unusual activity from this account," Sears' account read. "Do you still want to view it?” Users could click through an interstitial to view the account, however, restrictions can also prevent users from posting new content and interacting with others' content. Sears has not tweeted since July 23. “I was quite surprised to hear it was locked,” Sears told Richmond, VA ABC affiliate 8NEWS in a July 26 phone interview. “I won’t say it was something nefarious going on, because I can’t imagine I was being silenced. I won’t be silenced.”
