Twitter community adds a context note to Trump War Room tweet: Trump War Room, an official account for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, tweeted, “A tale of two pictures. No staffers or supporters at the DeSantis booth for much of the day. Meanwhile at the Trump booth, a long line of supporters eagerly signing up to help President Trump win back the White House. There is no substitute for victory.” The tweet included two photos showing the two booths. Twitter added a label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The added context read "The picture of the DeSantis table was taken before the event began, after it was set up. It is being compared to a table from during the event, which is not an honest comparison" with a link to a tweet from the DeSantis PAC Never Back Down that explained the discrepancy with photos. The label is part of Twitter’s Community Notes system. Twitter users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to tweets.
