Twitter locked a user's account and deleted her content for claiming men cannot be women: A user tweeted in response to other users saying: "So-called 'trans women' are men. Why should a centre set up for women by women be forced to admit men? Centres don't work fine with males present. Women who have been raped need a man free space to heal. As for prisons, you're saying women will be abused anyway, so let's add men," according to a  screenshot tweeted by the user. The purported screenshot shows that twitter locked the user's account for "violating [Twitter's] rules on against hateful conduct." The platform explained that users "may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease." [Emphasis added].
