Twitter account run by friend of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison banned: A Twitter account uncovered to be run by a friend of the Australian Prime Minister was permanently suspended over its purported affiliation with QAnon conspiracy content. A Twitter spokesperson told The Guardian that the account, run by an individual named Tim Stewart who has ties to PM Scott Morrison through his wife reporters uncovered, was removed "for engaging in coordinated harmful activity.” Twitter began taking action against accounts it believed were spreading QAnon content in the Summer of 2020 and since have removed at least 77,000 account deemed to be affiliated with QAnon.
