And empathetic. Neither apply here. What I'm not empathetic towards are parents that let their kids transition on a whim...causing them traumatic psychological damage down the road. Hey...when you're 18...knock yourself out." Twitter found this tweet violated its "rules against promoting or encouraging suicide or self-harm." This was likely because of the phrase "knock yourself out," a commonly used phrase to mean, roughly, "go ahead and do what you will," certainly nothing to do with encouraging self-harm. However, Twitter's AI algorithm has proven to be unable to distinguish the most basic context, so this is not surprising. The user was forced to delete the tweet in order to unlock their account.
