Texas Lindsay

Twitter censored user for asking questions about Wuhan Lab Leak COVID-19 theory: Popular Twitter account Texas Lindsay posted a screenshot of a tweet from Peter Daszak's account that he had later deleted. The tweet originated on Dec. 10, 2019 and read "Zhengli Chi from the Wuhan Inst of Virology describing open and transparent international scientific collaboration on pandemic risk pathogens like #Nipah at their BSL-4 lab." Lindsay's tweet raised questions about the tweet, saying "Inquiring minds might ask, why would this Dec 2019 tweet about the #Wuhan Institute of Virology and the 'international scientific collaboration' be deleted if there was nothing to hide? @AGHuff." According to purported screenshots shared by Lindsay, Twitter found the tweet violated its "policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19." Lindsay's account was locked until she deleted the tweet, and was subsequently restricted for at least 9 hours and 49 minutes according to another screenshot that she shared. Lindsay appealed the censorship but it is unclear how the matter was resolved.
