The platform restricted her ability to "post, comment or send messages," for 30 days. The user told CensorTrack in an email that her "'crime' was being the moderator of a private Facebook group of unlikely conservatives: people who attend, perform, and work at Renaissance festivals." She later added, "[s]o much of the 'rennie community' is liberal; we just wanted a place where we could be with like-minded people." The user further explained that her Facebook Support Inbox "had no report of anything I posted that violated any standards" and that to her knowledge "there was no specific post that triggered the 30-day restriction placed on my account."
